The „Comparative Political Data Set“ is a comparative collection of political, institutional, socio-economic und demographic data. It covers 36 OECD- and/or EU-member states and is updated annually by Prof. Dr. Klaus Armingeon and collaborators at University of Bern. At the moment, the data reach from the time period between 1960 (or since a country’s transition to democracy) to 2018.
In addition to the annual data, detailed information on the composition government composition is available (party composition, reshuffles, duration, reason for termination, type of government, etc.).
